The track plan is fairly basic. A mainline passes through the module, with a siding for the stock yard. I wanted to keep the trackwork simple, so as to keep the open desert feel.





The track is all handlaid code 100 rail on Mt. Albert Scale Lumber Ties. I included tie plates and spikes on every tie for the mainline.





The turnout was also handlaid. I included a switch detail kit from San Juan Car Company. The diverging rail was pulled from an Atlas turnout. The remaining rails, including guard rails, were made from the same handlaying rails as the rest of the trackwork.
